Two Scoop was invited to come show of our games at Free Range Arcade.
Free Range Arcade is an event coordinated by the people over at BIGNight, Bloomington Independent Game Night which is Bloomington, Indiana’s indie game dev community.
BIGNight also put on SigmaPlay, for the first time this year back in may, which was the first game developer’s conference we attended.
Free Range Arcade was held at the Bloomington city hall. I was lucky enough to be able to car pool with Richie and Tom from Run Jump Dev who were also going to show of SuperSoul’s new game Speakeasy. They came by and picked me up in Louisville on their way from Lexington, and off we went. We set up our booths and got our games running, and kids and adults starting checking out what we had.
I also put out an email signup sheet for a contest to win a free promo code for SyRUSH, which went well. I added a check box for signing up for our email list for future game updates so it was optional, this is a great way to get an email audience going.
I enjoyed the event and hope to go again next time they have it. I would also like to try to coordinate an event like this for Louisville sometime soon!
